We all need to engage ourselves in physical activities after decades of working everyday. Most people retire at a very old age so they won't want to do some strenous activities. I will love to share with you some ideal hobbies that will give you some exercise without being too strenous.
BIKE RIDING: Bike riding is a hobby everybody have engage in when they were young. Unlike running, bike riding is better for retirement years. Running is not a good option for older people, although it helped your cardiovascular but it requires a rigorous fitness level. Riding is not as rigorous as certain other exercises, it is also an exercise that you will able to share with a less physically fit spouse or friend.
HAVE A GARDEN: Starting a garden is one of the hobbies most retirees engage themselves in. It does not require too much energy and exertion, but it requires squatting, lifting and kneeling. It is an excellent way of stretching your body.  WALKING OR HIKING: wlking is important for the body, it helps in burning out some calories and reduce your stress. Walking will help you recharge your physical and mental health.
SWIMMING: According to some researchers, swimming uses all the muscle groups because water provides 12 times the resistance of air. So swimming will make you fit and strengthen your muscle. You can take it as a hobby.
Find something that you can enjoy and will get you healthier during your retirement. Two physical activities that you can perform without stress and under any weather will keep you fit during lifetime.
